Beside a Nobel Prize Winner
A “small” goal that rewards our commitment. Yes, dear readers, when a few days ago we saw our book “Quantum Physics for Beginners – according to Ammiocuggino” in second place overall in the “Physics” Category of the Italian Kindle Store, our hearts were filled with pride. We were even beside a Nobel Prize Winner: Prof. Giorgio Parisi (2021 Nobel Prize in Physics) whose book is Top 1 overall in Italy since two or three months!
A great honor for us, to be next to a scientist of great international standing, and a completely unexpected milestone only two months ago, when we published what was “only” one of the first three books of a fledgling indie publishing company.
We were sure we had done a great job, because we knew the author, Antonio Scalisi, to whom we had entrusted the task of writing it but, in a “battlefield” as competitive as that of Amazon and without the “powerful” advertising media of great traditional publishers, who could certainly hypothesize its success?
Instead, the professionalism, passion and competence of Antonio Scalisi, combined with those of the members of our “Karing Ship” Editorial Team, are managing to spread our message toward to readers. And not only to the Italian ones, given that albeit recently, the English version has also started its journey in the Anglo-Saxon-speaking markets. And we don’t stop there for sure: another translation is on the way!
